If you are looking for <strong>authentic nature, wild mountains, misty forests, and quiet villages<\/strong>, La Gomera is the ideal destination. This island is known for its <strong>historical connections to Christopher Columbus<\/strong>, incredible <strong>viewpoints<\/strong>, and the unique language <strong>silbo gomero<\/strong>. Cristianos)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boat transport between the islands is provided by two ferry companies<strong>. <\/strong> I recommend searching on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.directferries.com\/?dfpid=6377&amp;affid=885723&amp;rurl=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Direct Ferries<\/a>, which will give you all the available options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.directferries.com\/?dfpid=6377&amp;affid=885723&amp;rurl=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fred Olsen Express<\/a> <\/strong><\/strong> \u2013 the journey takes <strong>50 minutes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a noopener\">Car<\/a><\/strong>: If you want to explore the island well, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/cars\/index.cs.html?aid=1607597&amp;label=v3.cmash4bcnusds0858ljoidakx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I recommend renting a car<\/a><\/strong> directly at the port of <strong>San Sebasti\u00e1n.<\/strong> Compare the cheapest options <a searching on <a Thanks to the <strong>constant humidity and mists<\/strong>, <strong>ancient moss-covered trees<\/strong> grow here, creating a magical atmosphere. I recommend going early in the morning; otherwise, the viewpoints are often shrouded in fog.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_see_and_do_here\"><\/span><strong>What to see and do here?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pico de Garajonay (1,487 m)<\/strong> \u2013 the island&#8217;s highest peak with a fantastic view of Tenerife, La Palma, and El Hierro.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sendero El Cedro<\/strong> \u2013 one of the most beautiful hiking trails leading through forests, waterfalls, and mountain streams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mirador El Rejo<\/strong> \u2013 a viewpoint with a breathtaking panorama of the island.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Several marked hiking trails lead through the park \u2013 most are <strong>easy to moderate<\/strong> and ideal for hiking trips.
